Kayak / Snorkle Tour from Pato Surf School in Samara

I took the Kayak trip. This was my second trip to Samara. I had never kayaked before, and I was nervous. I am 50 years old, and the initial break of waves is what scared me. The staff at Pato gave our group a great lesson, and then we pushed off in our 2 person kayaks for the 40 minute trip to the island. Our guide, Eloy, expertly led us thru the waves. The whole 3 hour tour was fun, beautiful, exciting and informative. Eloy helped lead us into the part of the island approach that had the calmest waters. Once we landed, he fitted us with snorkel gear and took us out to an amazing reef. We saw dozens of species of fish. My favorite was the blue starfish! When we finished snorkeling, he had laid out a beautiful buffet of fresh fruits and water. It was probably the best $30 I’ve spent in a long time. : ) Sarah (from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)
